Momokawa Diamond - Btl. $22 / Gl. $5 A smooth, slightly dry, full-bodied junmai ginjo saké. Enjoyed best with lightly prepared cuisine. Momokawa Pearl - Btl. $22 / Gl. $5 Often called "antique" or cloudy saké, nigori genshu is saké that has been roughly filtered so that some of the rice and koji rice in the fermenting tank make it into the bottle. Very sweet and often served with spicy foods or as dessert saké. Ginjo Premier - Btl. $36 / Gl. $8 A supreme taste that can be equated to a fine white Wine with a fruity bouquet. Best when served with Cold dishes. Karatamba (10oz.) - Btl. $14 A very dry saké that embodies the tradition of Japan even in the design of the packaging. Excellent with Spicy dishes. Imported from Japan. Yumeakari Junmai Ginjyo (Kunshu) - Btl. $55 Expressive, complex, and well balanced, aroma of fruit. Excellent with full aroma dishes, fruits, and herbs. Ohtouka Nama (Sohshu) - Btl. $21 A modest saké with aromas of fruit. Refreshing, smooth, and gentle on the palate. Good for light flavored foods. Mizuno Shirabe Ginjo (Shoshu) - Btl. $41 enjoyed with lightly prepared cuisine. Denshin Tokubetsu Junmai (Junshu) - Btl. $45 and cream. Best served with rich flavored foods. Kaishu Honjyozo (Junshu) - Btl. $32 A well-balanced medium dry saké. Reminiscent of steamed rice, cedar, and cream. Enjoyed with rich flavored cuisine. |
